Description
What you’ll do:
As the Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders, to understand client requirements and our internal technical team, to ensure project deliverables correctly meet our clients’ needs. You strive to develop client relationships as a strategic and trusted advisor. You’ll run discovery sessions with the client to gather business requirements, analyze the technical feasibility of their requirements, and translate the requirements into user stories and functional specifications for the development team. Because of the interdisciplinary nature of this role, you will primarily work in a project delivery capacity, but you will also have the opportunity to support sales cycles, project management. Additionally, you will::
- Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to identify and understand their business requirements. Listen and understand client industry, business models, processes, inefficiencies and pain points.
- Map client business requirements and process flows to be used in solution design.
- Create, prioritize, and groom user stories to create tickets for the technical team.
- Participate in solution design meetings, adhering to industry and platform best practices.
- Guide the teams throughout their efforts to produce deliverables according to specification.
- Support your team in the creation of QA test cases to ensure the platform is working properly and effectively.
- Build strategic relationships to grow account insight and uncover new revenue opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Create documentation to support Business Analyst and Project Management processes
- Support sales and marketing initiatives as-needed
In this position, you will have flexibility to be remote or hybrid (Toronto, ON). Some travel may be required for on-site meetings or attendance of conferences.

What you’ll bring:
- University degree in business commerce, information technology, computer science, or similar
- Thorough understanding of SDLC and Agile project management methodologies
- Experience leading client/executive sessions on business requirements
- Expert understanding of Jira including ticket creation, and planning and prioritizing sprints
- Ability to solicit information from clients, understand their business strategy, and translate the information into strategic and impactful recommendations.
- Professional facilitation of meetings and creation of minutes and project documents in order to create consensus among stakeholders
- Proactive issue identification and superb problem resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly communicate with all types of staff including technical, professional, and upper management
- Effective team relationship building and conflict resolution skills
- Desire to learn, grow, and be part of a team
- Flexibility, innovation, positivity
Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce, or other CRM or marketing automation is an asset
- Salesforce Business Analyst Certification

Compensation
$70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
